Skoda revealed in Geneva a new logo and a new style

new logo Skoda

Skoda Company on the eve of the Geneva motor show has officially unveiled its new logo and a concept car Vision D, which should give an idea of the direction in which to develop the design of the Czech car brand in the coming years.
Logo "Skoda" after "rebranding" was simple: the brand name has moved from the interior of the circle logo, its limits, and inner part of the logo was bigger. In addition, the logo disappeared inscription "auto". Logo on the cars will be used in monochrome - no green color.
Prototype Skoda Vision D, which also was submitted on 28 February in Geneva, is the bearer of a new corporate brand identity, developed under the leadership of chief designer brand Joseph Cabana - this is his first proper job since joining the company in 2007. Key features of the concept car - the traditional two-volume body "hatchback" c compact rear overhang, a small elongated headlights, massive wheel arches and big grille.
According to some assumptions, this car may already be a forerunner of a new budget model, which is a Skoda to develop markets in China, India and Russia.
